I started out with some exposure experimentation. Next year I hope to have a 300 mm lens so I can get even closer, and bonus points if I can get up on the roof of my house as well...



Colors! I really love fireworks - I'm not at all a patriotic person, but I love the 4th just because it's the only time I really get to watch them.

And now for some close ups - I had never thought about it before, but the sparks from the fireworks don't travel in a straight line, which makes for some interesting shapes.



This firework exploded right in the center of another. Cool effect!



I love the shapes on the blue sparks - all squiggly and awesome. Yay.

Ohh, nifty - are you playing 4th Edition?

Tuesday evenings might work then, if that's good for you. I have meetings those nights as well, but since I'm an animator and they don't really have any work for me, I can probably skip out for a little bit!

It was fun to hang with you cats for a while, glad everything is groovy with you... you got a rockin dome on that neck...you'll go places, kid.

Sorry we kept poor Stefen out whilst he was out of fuel and all sleeeeeeepy.
